EMPLOYMENT DATES: Full Pool Season: May 23rd - September 7th

Gate Guard	15 yrs & Older	40+ hrs per week	May 23 – September 7	Flexible schedule. No certifications required.
Head Lifeguard	18 yrs & Older	40+ hrs per week	May 23 – September 7	Hours as assigned by Pool Manager
Deck Supervisor	21 Yrs & Older	40+ hrs per week	May 23 – September 7	Hours as assigned by Pool Manager
Assistant Pool Director	21 yrs & Older	40+ hrs per week	May 23 – September 7	Resume Required

* Full-Time Lifeguards are expected to be available to work fill-in shifts outside of these date ranges.

This includes select weekends and holidays such as Memorial Day, July 4^th, & in some cases, Labor Day.

Anyone applying for a Lifeguard, Deck Supervisor, or Assistant Pool Director position must hold current certifications or be registered in a Lifeguarding and CPR for the Professional Rescuer/First Aid course to be held prior to Pool opening. Any offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of this course.

SALARY

The following is the starting salary for new hires at each position (hourly rate.)

Gate Guard: $16.50
Lifeguards: $17.00
Head Lifeguard: $17.50
Deck Supervisor: $18.00
Assistant Pool Director: $19.50

The Tarrytown Parks & Recreation Department will begin reviewing pool applications in mid-March.

Pool positions are limited. Due to the volume of applications received, not all applicants will be contacted for an interview. Select applicants will be contacted only if a position is available.
